Autism Acceptance: A Collaborative Celebration with Wyndham Corporation

Autism New Jersey collaborated with Wyndham Corporation on April 17th to celebrate individuals with autism and their families. Autism New Jersey Executive Director, Dr. Suzanne Buchanan, and Family Wellness Director, Amy Golden, M.S., BCBA, and Certified Health and Well-Being Coach, kicked off the day with a workshop called "Taking Care of Yourself as a Caregiver."

Following the workshop, employees had the opportunity to visit informational tables set up by Autism New Jersey staff near the cafeteria. These tables provided resources about autism for families, colleagues, and anyone interested, as well as details about the Autism Ambassador Program.

The day was marked by engaging conversations, empathy, curiosity, and motivation. A big thank you to Wyndham for their warm hospitality!
