Our relationship will not be like it is with other people in my life - but I can accept that it is unique, special, and rewarding.

Autism Acceptance is important to me because everyone deserves a sense of belonging.  Creating a culture of acceptance generates love, empathy, patience, and perseverance. 

Our son is empathetic, loving, courageous, kind, smart and incredibly capable – he is not defined or limited by autism. 

When people know and understand that Mattea is on the spectrum, they are more likely to take the time to let her open up.

Maddie has an extraordinary ability to connect with people. Her Dad and I like to call it her superpower. She lives life to the fullest and has the biggest smile.
